The Adults Only Sandbar Escape leaves Beachside Resort midday, cruises through the backcountry mangrove channels and drops anchor at Snipes Key Sandbar, the best sandbar in the Lower Keys and home of the Instagram-famous sandbar swing.
Brightwild Adventures is the only shared sandbar charter company in Key West that goes to Snipes Key, and the only one with a kid-free excursion to the sandbar. Snipes Key is always the #1 choice! If Mother Nature has other plans, your captain will choose the best alternate location for the day.
Wade through tropical clear blue water, explore on a paddleboard, float on the lily pad with a cold drink and eat a handmade sub from a local deli that has been a staple of the boating community here for almost 30 years.

How the day runs
Depart Beachside Resort
Meet at the beach area at the top of the long pier. Drinks open as the boat clears the marina.
Arrive at the sandbar
Anchor in clear, shallow water at Snipes Key, or the best alternative if conditions call for it. Paddle, float, swing and settle in.
Deli lunch and open bar
Pick your sub, grab a cold beer, wine or seltzer and keep the cooler close.
Back at the dock
A relaxed cruise home through the backcountry.

Snipes Key is the goal on every sandbar trip and it is where the boat runs whenever conditions allow. Weather and sea state can make it unsafe or unreachable on a given day, and when that happens the captain chooses the best sandbar available instead. The call is made on the day of the trip.

Complimentary parking at Beachside Resort for passengers. Park under Building 6 for the nearest entrance to the beach area.
No. Outside food and drinks are not allowed because lunch and the open bar are included. Ask about upgraded food and beverage packages when booking.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure are refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, no refund. Trips need a minimum of six passengers to run.
